2011 brought with it lots of flights (37!), lots of new cities, some of my favorite old cities, and tons of adventure!

Seattle - Seattle (again) - Denver - San Francisco - Washington DC - Chicago - San Diego - New Orleans - More Seattle - Los Angeles - Tucson - Boston - Vietnam - South Korea - Denver - Los Angeles - Jacksonville - Seattle.

Whether it's planes, trains or a road trip to a new corner of AZ...here's to the standing 2012 line up (and the many more adventures that aren't planned yet)!

It was a year of greatness.

If you've read any of this at all, you know that I have a love affair with Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros. 

At the McDowell Mountain Music Festival these guys poured their passion for music into a show that was truly a blessing to witness. 

this train is bound for glory.

The Railroad Revival Tour came to Tempe, and changed my life. Three folky bands (Old Crow Medicine Show, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and Mumford & Sons), and old timey train from NorCal to NOLA...

And a night of music that won't be easily forgotten. Ever.

Last night Arcade Fire came to Phoenix. It was every bit as epic as I could have dreamed. 

the world is sweet.

I always find the most wonderful treasures at Smeeks, a Phoenix gem. Enjoying little chocolate globes and dreaming of exploring.

One of my all time favorite concerts. Bon Iver and Megafaun. Listening to this ALL day today.
